11th Annual Crawford Cup raises nearly $4,000 for local charity

Friday, September 13th, Crawford Landscaping held its 11th Annual Crawford Cup at Heritage Bay Golf Course and Country Club.  Nineteen teams with 73 golfers played in this year’s charity golf tournament.  The winning team was Keith Mahan, Kevin Natella, Cliff Robinson and Marshall Caudill with a score of 58.   Ben Gibs, Mary Jones, Richard Kamauf and Blake Crawford had the longest drives, while Fred Newlands, Trevor Gliwski, Matt Lavish and Cliff Robinson had closest to the pins.

All sales of mulligan and raffle tickets the day of the event went to the non-profit Immokalee Unmet Needs Coalition, based out of Immokalee, Florida.  This charity helps victims in Immokalee that were affected by Hurricane Irma in 2017.  Many of whom still do not have homes, therefore this charity helps identify their needs and provides solutions.  Through the generous donations of our players and volunteers we were able to raise almost $4,000!  This is the most we have ever raised in any prior year.  In total, we have raised over $26,000 for local charities, including Garden of Hope and Courage, St Matthew's House, Shelter for Abusive Women and Children, Special Olympics - Collier County, Collier County Honor Flight, Liberty Youth Ranch and now Immokalee Unmet Needs Coalition.

It was a terrific weather day on the golf course and a fantastic day to raise money for local charities like Immokalee Unmet Needs Coalition.  Thank you to all our sponsors and clients who participated in this charity golf tournament.  For more information on how you can help out the Immokalee Unmet Needs Coalition you can visit them on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/ImmokaleeUnmetNeeds/
