Servant Leadership

According to Ann McGee-Cooper and Duane Trammell in there paper entitled The Essentials of Servant Leadership: Principles in Practice, servant leaders exhibit five basic practices:

  • Listening without judgment
  • Being authentic, open and accountable
  • Building community and showing appreciation
  • Sharing power
  • Developing people
